I went to dinner with a group of business associates a few months ago and I sat across from a very kind gentleman who looked my father’s age. However, during the conversation he brought up his birth date, and I realized that he was born in the same month and year that I was This was amazing because he looked 20 years older than me, but he was my same age.

This to me was further proof that as you get older the bigger the difference you can look in age, either younger or older, depending on how well you take care of your body. Since I work out on a regular basis and eat healthy, I am excited that people tell me that from a physical fitness standpoint, I look more like an in-shape 35 year old. What do you look like? Are you 40 years old and look like 50 or are you a 50 year old that like 40? You need to know that you are the sole determiner of either of these two scenarios.

The great thing is that if you look older than you are and want to look younger than you are, then you have the key to making that happen, right now, no matter what age you are. I can help you, all you have to do is join my challenge group, and I will coach you on how to look and feel younger than you actually are by starting a workout routine that fits your current physical fitness and gradually changing your diet. Contact me on Facebook by clicking the Facebook link on the top left of this webpage, and I will add you to my challenge group.

New Goals: Over the weekend at the Beachbody Convention in Las Vegas, I saw a young man who lost 240 lbs and not only became thin, but got into great physical shape using the P90X dvd workout program, Shakology, and the mentorship from his beachbody coach. I saw how this young man literially got his life back, at over 400 lbs in his early 20′s he was part of the living dead. He had no self esteem, he was very unhealthy, and he was completely miserable; but through his Beachbody experince he is a new man. I feel that I can help many men and woman to lose 10, 20, 50, even 100 lbs and get into great shape. I started out as a very over weight kid in middle school, forced myself to work out in high school and got into great physical shape, have kept working out for 30+ years, and I am still in great shape working out daily and runing 10 to 20 miles per week. Additionally, I have been an Amway Diamond and and Executive Business Coach, and from that experience my goal it to help 100 people lose weight and get into shape. My coaching is free, and all you have to do is send a comment to to me via this website, or contact me via any of the methods shown on the top left of this website, and I will add you to my facebook fitness accountably page, and help you to meet your weight and fitness goals. Yesterday, I met with a very successful CPA with over 1500 clients who has asked me to help him lose 20 lbs, and I am excited to help him. Let me help you too.

How I had to walk fast to keep up with my 95 year old grandmother during a 2 mile walk with her on Mother’s Day

Is this crazy or what. I took my 95 year old grandmother out for lunch on Mother’s day and after our lunch she wanted me to go on a walk with her. I had my flip flops on and I did not take the time to put on walking shoes because I thought (incorrectly) that I would be walking so slow that I did not need my walking shoes. However, to my chagrin, I almost needed my running shoes to keep up with her. Now this is from a guy that ran 9 miles twice in the last 4 days, so I was very surprised and happy to see that my grandmother was in such good shape. You must know that this is not a complete surprise to me because as a result of my grandfather dying in his mid 50′s when I was 12 years old from cancer, my grandmother became a health nut before that was popular. I remember being so surprised when I came to my grandmother’s house after she had made her switch from being an awesome Italian cook to being a very bland health food preparer. My grandfather was very unhealthy, he smoked, he ate very fatty and high carbohydrate food, and he never worked out, and as a result he was very overweight and had 3 heart attacks in his 40′s. Well when my grandfather died my grandmother was in her early 50′s and decided to change everything about the health side of her life. She quit smoking after smoking for over 30 years, she stopped eating high fat and carbohydrate foods, she started yoga, she started walking each day, and she started dancing several times per week. When she was in her 70′s and 80′s I literally almost had to jog next to her to keep up with her very fast walking pace. I remember in her early 90′s taking her on a very hard hike in the local mountains in Southern California, and she kept right up with me. Well when my grandmother turned 92 she fell and broke her hip, and as a result I was very worried because every 90 plus year old that I knew of who broke their hip never fully recovered. Well again to my chagrin, when her surgeon took her into surgery he expected the top of her leg bone to be soft and mushy, but instead it was as a hard as a rock. Therefore, the surgery went extremely well, and my grandmother did not want to sit around, so she pushed herself very hard, which lead to her walking within weeks, and dancing within 6 months. Now skip to last Mother’s day, I had not walked with my grandmother since she broke her hip, so I was not expecting her to walk fast like she used to. Well to me surprise and amazement, she not only was able to walk very well, but she walked very fast for 2 miles and I almost got a blister on my foot from my flip flops.

The moral of the story is this, no matter what your age is or your current level of physical fitness, if you are still mobile, you can change, get healthier, and get into better physical shape. My grandmother is prefect proof of that. However, you have start right where you are at right now, good or bad, and slowly and continually, without quitting, increase your level of physical activity and eat healthier (with your doctor’s consent of course). You have to stop comparing yourself to other people and just do what you can do, and do something every day. Our mental and physical state will change from day to day, and some days you will feel great and want to work out, and some days you will feel terrible and not want to do anything. But, just make a pack to do something every day, even if it is a very small and limited amount. My motto is something every day (no matter how small in scope) is always better than nothing. I have learned from my grandmother that you can get into better physical shape at any age, and once you are in good physical shape, you can stay in good physical shape the rest of your life. So you just need to make the decision on when you are going start to change your health and level of physical fitness; and guess what, you do not need to wait until next New Year’s Day to make a New Year’s Resolution. Instead you can make a change starting today.
